Practice Gratitude: Being thankful is one of the keys to a happy life. Too often we focus on what we don’t have ( YET ) instead of being grateful for the things we do. Part of my daily routine includes taking a few minutes out of my day to write down something I’m grateful for and it has helped tremendously.
Know Your Why: My why was simple. I’ve always believed in having more than one source of income and using my talents to inspire others. Your why is YOUR driving force, it’s the goal you want to reach. It’s whatever gets you out of the bed in the morning and pushes you to be the amazing woman you know you can be.
Make Time for Personal Development: This has been a complete game changer for me. Being a former teacher, I’ve done plenty when it comes to professional development in my career field, but I never utilized the same skills for my personal life. Waking up early to plan out my day has become part of my daily routine as well as taking a few moments to read something positive to fuel my soul.
Be Happy: Above all things choose happiness. Life is too short to not enjoy the things that put a smile on your face or spark joy in your life.
